"Sahlab" is the official winter drink in Egypt. It's made of milk, Starch & nuts. Sometimes I get that amazing nostalgic feeling when we used to sit in front of TV in the long cold winter nights with all family members gathered & making a huge pot of "Sahlab" & enjoy the happy & most important funny family events & laughing till late hours of the night ,then going to sleep with a big happy smile on our faces, whenever I get that feeling , I run to the kitchen & do a smaller pot of "Sahlab" for my small family ,waiting anxiously for summer to come to enjoy those huge family gatherings once again!
