Crullers are Fried Pastry topped with powdered Sugar or Cinnamon or Sugar icing.They are made of a dense Dough,somehow similar to that of Donuts, but they are piped from a Pastry bag .
They are very easy to make , the whole process takes less than 30 minutes .
Ingredients: (12 pieces)
250ml Milk
A pinch of Salt
1Table spoon Sugar
50 gm Butter
200 gm Flour
4 Eggs
1 Packet of Vanilla
Oil for deep frying
Parchment paper
Icing:
1 Cup of Icing Sugar
2-3 Tablespoons Milk
Preparation:
In a pot over medium-high heat add Milk, Salt,Sugar & Butter & wait till they melt.
Reduce the heat a little bit & add the Flour & stir with a spoon till you have a thick yet smooth dough .
Remove from heat & let it cool for 5 minutes ,then add the Eggs one by one and the Vanilla while mixing with an electrical mixer.
You will now have a sticky, thick but smooth dough, Fill it in a pastry bag with a wide Star tip.
Cut 12 10x10 cm Squares out of Parchment paper & brush them with a thin layer of Oil.
Pipe the Dough into circles over the small paper squares.
Heat the Oil on medium heat & Fry the piped pastry (The upper side down in the frying pan) around 2-3 minutes on each side.
Mix the Icing Sugar with milk & pour it Over your Crullers, enjoy them with a cup of Coffee :)
Pipe your pastry over a Parchment paper brushed with a thin layer of Oil, to make it easier to drop in the frying pan. Ein Kranz auf das Backpapier Sprizen |
Sprizkuchen
Zuataten: (ca. 12 Stück)
250 ml Milch
Prise Salz
1 EL Zucker
50 g Butter
200 g Mehl
4 Eier
1 päckchen Vanillezucker
Öl zum Frittieren
Der Belag (Icing)
250 gm Puderzucker
2-3 EL Milch
Zubereitung:
Milch, Salz, Zucker & Butter in einem Topf aufkochen , Dan Mehl geben & mit einem Löffel rühren (schnell) bis den Teig dick ist. Dann vom Herd nehmen & ca. 5 minuten kühlen lassen.
Eier & Vanillezucker zugeben & mit der Schneebesen des handrühgerät glatt rühren.
Teig in einem Sprizbeutel mit Sterntülle füllen.
Backpapier in quadrat 10x10 cm ausschneiden & mit etwas Öl bursten. Kreise auf Dad Bakpapier sprizen & im Öl (mittlere Hitze) frittieren 2-3 minuten je seite.
Der Belag zutaten glatt rühren & auf den Spritzkuchen verteilen.
